My trophy exotic hunts are on several ranches close to Camp Wood, Texas. The prices vary by species. These hunts have a $250.00 per day guide fee in addition to the animal trophy fee. I recommend the Woodbine Inn in Camp Wood, Texas (830-597-2310) for lodging.
The guide will meet you at the Inn. There are local skinners, meat processors and taxidermists to take care of your trophy. Most of the hunting is "Safari Style" which is from a vehicle. Again I welcome rifle, bow (compound and traditional), black powder and handgun hunting.
We do not charge for non-hunters.

Descriptions:
Axis Deer (Country of Origin: India)
This spotted deer from India is commonly known as the most beautiful deer in the world. They typically have three points on each antler. A large buck can weigh 250 pounds with antlers thirty inches or more in length.
Fallow Deer(Country of Origin: Europe )
I have often said that the Fallow deer is my favorite exotic. They can have thick palmated antlers with 20 points or more. They are solid white, dark brown or red with white spots. A large buck can weigh about 200 pounds.
Sika Deer (Country of Origin: Japan and China)
Sika were native from southern Siberia and the adjacent Japanese island of Hokkaido south, along both the mainland and islands, to southeastern China and Formosa. A small to medium sized deer that, due to extensive hybridization in Texas, is highly variable in size and coloration. In general, sika are all "compact" in form; appear "dainty-legged"; and have a short, trim, wedge-shaped head. Males carry antlers that average 28-48 cm in length, although exceptional racks may be up to 74 cm in length. Sika antlers have 3-4 points branching from a main beam; there is no palmate growth as in the fallow deer. Females have a pair of black bumps on the forehead, their placement corresponding to that of the male’s antlers.
Red Deer (Country of Origin: Europe)
The Hartford Insurance Company picked an impressive buck when they made the Red Stag their symbol. The males are the most impressive of all the exotic deer. A trophy buck will have 30 inch antlers with 5 or 6 points per side. They are reddish brown color with long hair. A large male will weigh 400 pounds.
Blackbuck Antelope (Country of Origin: India)
This antelope is considered to be the most exotic of all the exotics. The horns twist out to four turns and have lengths of 17 to 22 inches on the straight line measurement. The black and white coloration is absolutely gorgeous ! A large buck will weight 80 pounds.
Ibex Goat (Country of Origin: Asia)
The typical Persian Ibex is light brown with a black band around their shoulders. A record male will have horns 26 to 32 inches long. A large billy will weigh 150 pounds.
